Home is an original oil painting on panel measuring 14 × 18 inches (35.6 × 45.7 cm). The work portrays a Canadian soldier recently returned from overseas service, seated in quiet reflection as he pauses with a warm cup of a familiar Canadian beverage while awaiting his ride. The composition conveys a restrained sense of relief, stillness, and grounded pride—capturing the emotional transition between duty abroad and the meaning of home.
